What's New on EPLAN Platform 2026

Eplan Pro Panel: A customized view into control cabinets

Users working with control cabinet designs are supported with up to ten different views of projects in Eplan Pro Panel. Customized, application-specific views of the designed control cabinets can be saved and viewed from different perspectives, significantly speeding up the intuitive 3D navigation. The routing from cables has been improved for easier access to projects based on individual needs and specifications.

Eplan Data Portal: Now with direct access

New, direct access from Eplan device management users can now pull device data straight from the Data Portal. Just one click in Eplan Electric P8 will take the user to the component in the Portal where they can immediately download the required project data. The same applies to eStock, the cloud-based device database that also makes maintaining device data a collaborative effort. With more than 400 new properties for devices, including those from Rittal's new RiLineX, to deliver smart designs faster, whether you work in energy, the process industry, or building automation.

Eplan Preplanning: Now with single-line diagrams

Eplan Preplanning software now supports single-line diagrams, symbols and components can be placed and logically connected - making it easier for engineers to develop connected concepts.

The Eplan Platform 2025 supports electrical designers in creating circuit diagrams with updates on ease of use and efficiency. However, circuit diagrams must still be understandable for the end users in production and service. The current Eplan platform offers support to designers in creating meaningful yet accessible circuit diagrams. This update provides more relevant information included in clearer circuit diagrams. Clarified designs allow departments to act quicker, which is better for everybody involved.
