MemTest86 is the original, free, stand alone memory testing software for x86 and ARM computers. MemTest86 boots from a USB flash drive and tests the RAM in your computer for faults using a series of comprehensive algorithms and test patterns.

Fixes/Enhancements

        Added new config file parameter CHECKSPDSMBIOS to enable checking of SPD data consistency with SMBIOS data (eg. serial number). If the data is inconsistent, an error message is displayed and the test is aborted. This may be useful for detecting bugs in the BIOS when populating SMBIOS memory device entries.

        Updated the EFI binary compilation to satisfy the minimum memory page section alignment as specified in the Microsoft SecureBoot signing requirements (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login)

        This should make MemTest86 compatible with RUST based versions of UEFI which more strictly enforce page alignment and permissions.

        Fixed bug in CAS timings check when the CHECKMEMSPEED config file parameter is enabled

        Fixed hang when querying memory controller settings for some platforms with Ryzen Zen chipsets

        Update JEDEC manufacturer's ID based on JEP106BM

        Fixed chip width being incorrectly reported for SMBIOS memory devices, which does not specify this information.
