MBOX attachment extractor software allows extraction of multiple MBOX files at once. It has the option to add MBOX file individually or import multiple files in batch from a folder. A user can easily save attachments from multiple MBOX files without worrying about duplicacy and other factors.

Supports All MBOX Variants

There are many variants of MBOX file and multiple file types are derived from the basic MBOX format. This software supports all the MBOX variants and derivates like .mbx, .mbs, MBOX without extension along with the original .mbox files.

Maintain or Avoid Folder Hierarchy

Both the Windows and Mac MBOX Attachment Extractor wizard provides the option to maintain or avoid folder hierarchy as per the user requirements.

Maintain Folder Hierarchy - Choosing this option will create folders according to the structure of added MBOX files and preserve the hierarchy while saving the attached files in them.

No Folder Hierarchy - If a user chooses not to maintain the folder structure, the attached files will be saved in a folder without preserving the original hierarchy of files.

Facility to Apply Naming Convention

This tool also provides dual options to apply naming conventions based on your requirements:

For Attachments: This will rename and arrange the name of the attached files as per given convention like Subject, Date, From+Subject, etc.

For Attachment Folders: This will rename and arrange the folders containing attachments and give them names as per the chosen convention. Thus keeping the original attached files' name but still arranging them with help of the containing folders.

Date-Range Filters to Extract Attachments

The MBOX file attachment extractor software provides multiple filter options to extract and export attachments from selective emails only. The software has built-in date-range filter that filters all the emails within the MBOX file(s) between the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' and export attachments from only these filtered emails. This allows selective extraction of attached files that falls within the specified date-range.

Save Attachments As per File Size or File Type

In the process of applying filters, with Date-range the software also provides the option to chose and extract attachments from MBOX based on the file type and File Size.

File Size: This option allows a user to export attachments having size upto / more than the specified File Size. The maximum File Size is 100 MB and any value below it can be applied in the text box.

File Type: This option allows a user to export certain attached file types by including / excluding the file extensions. This is case-sensitive, so input the extension like .pdf and not PDF.
