Water3 is based on a series of vintage Austrian hardware from the 60s, hand-built around germanium transistor topology and plenty of audio transformers improved with our Hyper 2 technology.

Awe-Inspiring Dynamic Control

Water's limiter/compressor is based on a discrete diode bridge design that delivers an awe-inspiring sound. With 3 of the best transformers in the audio realm, it offers a smooth, larger-than-life coloration that is reminiscent of classic legendary tube devices. Originally manufactured in the late 1960s, this hardware is a pretty rare find these days.

Purify Your Sound

Water EQ was sampled from a passive stereo germanium equalizer dating back to 1961, plus a set of "homebrewed" hardware circuits that were hand-built using original components. We took care to maintain the unique benefits of the original hardware while making the plugin more flexible, thereby a more useful tool for the demands of modern producers.
