Description:

AutoSettingsPS is a portable tool based on a set of scripts for automatically configuring basic Windows settings, performing updates from a folder or maintenance, with the ability to configure the script for yourself, open source, and displaying all actions with a description. The main goal of AutoSettingsPS is to free Windows resources from unnecessary constant actions. Disable all possible data collection and modern functions, leaving standard Windows functionality for games or work. With the ability to supplement it with your own tweaks and configure it for yourself.. Written in PowerShell 5.

This is a completely new project, made from scratch, in PowerShell, with different algorithms and implementations

and additional features than in the previous AutoSettings.bat, but with similar controls and design.

You don't need to know PowerShell or install anything to use it.

AutoSettingsPS is completely self-contained and runs from a folder.

Changes in Windows are made only by user choice in the menu,

and it is possible to restore all script parameters back to default.

All settings were adapted for Windows 10 x64/x86 1809 (17763) and newer.

Run the bat file only as administrator!

The presets have changed - Set-Windows-Search items with IndexSettings have been added to all presets + its subgroups in Presets*.txt

Important!

The script folder must be added to the antivirus exclusions.

Since any scripts are blocked, including by behavior.

Before deleting system UWPs, be sure to make a backup copy so that you can roll back in case of failure.
