Immerse yourself in the unique soundscape of the Liminal Series Bundle, a collection of 457 meticulously crafted one-shot drum and synth samples designed for dream pop creators, but used in all types of genres. Inspired by my recent fascination with binaural sounds-where similar yet distinct left and right audio signals merge to create ethereal experiences-I set out to push this concept to its limits.

I took some of the worlds most sought after analog synthesizers (The UDO Super 6 and Steiner-Connolly Synthacon) and created hifi analog drum and synth one shots. I then processed those same sounds through the Casio SK1 to achieve a lofi version of that same sound. I then panned each of these sounds left and right in the stereo field and then added a separate analog spring reverb to each channel to get additional variance in tone. The result is so beautiful sounding, and completely unique to anything I've ever heard.

This bundle includes all of the dry lofi and hifi versions of the sounds seperately, combined in stereo, combined in stereo + spring reverb, and combined in mono + spring reverb.

By experimenting with both hi-fi and lo-fi versions of the same sound, this collection invites producers to explore the nuanced dynamics and textures that emerge.
