Brother's Keeper is an intuitive application that enables you to organize the family history information and build the genealogical tree chart. Designed with ease of use in mind, it helps you create a complete database containing details about descendants, ancestors and family relationships. To start creating the genealogical tree, first you have to enter the 'Edit' mode. The family history chart can be built from scratch by manually entering details about each person or by importing a GEDCOM file.

The application can store data regarding the first and last name, gender, birth, baptism and death dates and locations, as well as other significant facts and events in one's life (for instance, graduation day, religion, education, occupation, nationality and so on).

You can add further details about existing children and siblings, add notes or even assign sounds, videos or any other types of files to each database entry. Optionally, family member pictures can be added too, thus putting a face next to each name. The address, email, phone number, personal website can also be included.

In addition to this, you can add partners for each person, sons and daughters, parents, along with their spouses and children. All the stored data can be backed up to your computer for safe keeping.

A variety of charts and lists can be easily generated, printed or exported (in TXT, RTF or HTML format), from simple tree or box charts to descendant and ancestor charts, family group and individual sheets, timelines, numerical and alphabetical reports, birthday and events lists, missing information reports and more.

You can include as many generations as you want in the reports, create alphabetical indexes, choose the fields to include (generation number, notes, spouse and children data, etc.) and customize the chart appearance by changing the name colors.
