Patran provides import of geometric models from CAD systems, creation of calculation models, graphical display and processing of the obtained results.
Patran is a pre- and post-processor, that is, it does not contain solvers and serves only to prepare models for calculation and view the calculation results!
Solvers (for example, Nastran) must be downloaded and installed separately.
