System Requirements
To successfully install and run the software, ensure that your system meets the requirements described in this section.
These are the requirements for a computer:
Intel Core i5 processor or higher/AMD Ryzen 3 processor or higher, with a minimum of 6 cores (8 cores recommended).
RAM: At least 8 GB for a two-model delivery set (one language pair). If simultaneous translation into more language pairs is planned, an additional 2 GB of RAM is required per language model for the respective language pairs.
Free disk space: At least 10 GB. Operating system (only supported 64-bit versions):
• Microsoft Windows 8.1
• Microsoft Windows 10, as of Windows 10 Anniversary Update
• Microsoft Windows 11
Note:
To increase translation speed, you can use a graphics card (graphics processing unit, GPU) compatible with your operating system*, with at least 8 GB of dedicated RAM** and supporting CUDA 12.
* Please ensure you have the latest GPU drivers installed for your operating system.
** Each model consumes 2 GB of video RAM.
Multiple PROMT desktop products (including their different versions) cannot be installed simultaneously on the same computer.
