What's new in Maple Flow 2024.2

Drop-down lists to define variables

The new Drop-down List feature adds a flexible way to assign a variable's value from a preset list embedded in the worksheet. Drop-down lists can be used within reference designs to handle a variety of typical parameter values and greatly reduce the risk of manual entry errors.

The values in the drop-down list can be defined from a matrix within the worksheet, imported from a text file, or entered in a table. Changing the selected value from the list causes the downstream math containers to be automatically updated.

Support for phasors

Engineers can now enter and view complex numbers in phasor form. Phasors are used when analyzing electrical circuits, power systems, signal processing and vibrational analysis.

Other new features:

-    Units can now be entered as 2-D math format directly from the Context Panel, saving time when working with units with fractions or powers.

-    And many more user-requested enhancements and updates.
