AVEVAhas releasedAVEVA Process Simulation 2026 patch 1is an innovative, integrated platform that helps you develop the process side of your digital twin so your teams work smarter while designing a sustainable world. AVEVA Process Simulation helps engineers create value in every phase of the plant lifecycle, from conceptual design to operation support.

New features in AVEVA Process Simulation 2026

Major features for this release include the following:

Assay characterization and blending

Enter distillation curve and measured property data into the new Assay model, define and preview cut sets, and create blends of assays for use throughout your simulation.

Dynamic time step reduction

Automatically reduce the time step of a simulation model when it struggles to solve in Dynamics mode.

Simulation-specific UOM Slates in Excel

Access custom UOM Slates defined in your simulation using the Excel Add-in.

Single-click data export

Export data from multiple thermodynamic diagrams, trends, and profiles at once by using a single click.

Relaxed model naming rules

Name models can use hyphens or start with a number.

Saved print settings

Save print settings to your simulation to easily access the same settings later.

Reconnect streams after model deletion

Automatically reconnect streams after deleting a model connected to an upstream or downstream multi- port connector.

Consistent workflow to reset parameters and variables to default

Reset any parameter or variable to its default value or select a range of items to reset all selections at the same time.

Scenario solver behavior

Create scenarios that automatically run by using the current Auto Solve setting in the simulation.

Machine learning thermodynamic data banks

Use the new SPT-NRTL-ETH-AVEVA:ETH and UnifacPublic2(https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f61b.png)UBLIC data banks that contain machine-learning generated data for thousands of new component pairs.
