Description:
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages are redistributable packages that install runtime components of the Visual C++ libraries. These components are required to run applications developed using the Visual Studio programming environment. These components include: C Runtime Environment (CRT), Standard C++, MFC, C++ AMP, and OpenMP. That is, in other words, programs that are developed in Visual Studio using these libraries will not work unless Visual Studio itself is installed.
